Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California in the 9th July 1983. Her first job was in real estate. It was here that she first met Tarek El-Moussa who would become her husband. They had a great time up until 2008, when the stock market plunged and a lot of house flippers as well as real estate investors went under. Tarek El Moussa, and Christina El Moussa, lost the majority of their assets as a result of the 2008 market collapse. From a $6,000-per-month home, up to a condo that cost $700 per month. Slowly, their business and the overall economy recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek asked a friend to help him make the HGTV audition tape that showed the two of them Christina turning a house the beginning to the end. Pie Town Productions, a production company in New York City, was the first to receive the tape. They were in love with Tarek as well as Christina. The agreement was agreed by the couple and HGTV. "Flip of Flop" began its premiere in April of 2013. Over seven seasons between 2013 and 2017, the show ran 92 episodes. On the show, Christina and Tarek would purchase properties, usually middle-income houses located in Orange County, and would later spend a few weeks making improvements so that they could sell the home to make a profit.
